I have my 06 4wd Tacoma sitting on 265's. I really wanna get a new lift kit and new wheels, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it considering it has 231,xxx miles. It's in pretty good shape, I just want to go for a different look. But if put all this money into this truck, would it be worth it? What do y'all think?

Here's a pretty good kit Headstrong offers:

It's worth it to upgrade if you plan on keeping it. Your truck should last you another 200k before anything major occurs, might as well spend a little money making her happy along the way.

6inch lift sitting on bilstein coilovers. Lexus is300 studs in front to keep stock wheels, general grabber red letters, nfab front bumper.
It's what is it worth to you. This website has the funny thing of draining your bank account fast.

I say save your money for a new truck to keep the future payment you will incur or save enough to make it non-existent. You could spend a little money and look for a set of wheels that are used but new to you. Cheaper that way and still save for the new truck.

Depends if you plan on keeping the truck until the wheels fall off or if you see yourself getting rid of it in the future.

Do a low budget lift, two and a half inches or less, bigger tires, plastic dip your wheels for a new look. Around $1000 including the new tires. :taco:

If you're going to keep it - yes it's worth it. Also throw some pics up of your truck how it sits now!

Rule of thumb.. for every dollar you spend on mods, set 1.5 dollars aside for quality OEM replacement parts.

I'd replace wha needs to be fixed then go all out coilover, ucas, leaf springs for your budget an rims 33s an trim to fit.

I wouldn't. I'd throw the money into a "new truck" savings account.

But ultimately it comes down to what you want... You really can't go wrong either way
