To all the Quicksand Taco owners, what kind of reaction do you get from people about the color? From what I've see people either hate or love it.

Those of you who've own a QS for awhile, any buyers remorse?

I get many positive comments from complete strangers. Some of my friends give me shit for it, cause that's what friends do. It'll be a year next month since I bought the truck and still loving this color! Plus its a classic Toyota color that I think will age well. If you like it I say go for it, no regrets here.

Most folks I've talked to seem to like it. I immediately liked the color the first time I saw it. Reminded me of the old Land Cruisers. I thought it would be a good color for an off road vehicle. I actually never gave any thought to what anyone else would think. Only have to please myself.

I don't have QS. I LOVE the color. My better half....not so much. My house is a house divided. So I of course ended up with BBP.

I don't think other individual's opinions matter. If you like it, get it. However, you just made a post about people's opinion on color. I think picking a more neutral color might be your best bet. White, black, or gray. If you are not 100% sold on QS, do not get it. Expensive mistake to deal with.

I get good reactions to the QS, not that I care what others think. I really love the truck and the color. ;)

I get lots of compliments for the Quicksand/Bronze wheel combo, but my wife hates the color. I love the color.

I think its a fad color, give it a few years, not sure it'll be so popular. I'm surrounded by MRAPs, Humvees, buildings and desert sand vehicles all day for the last 8 years, last thing I want to do is drive one home. Your truck man pick a color and go for it, can't go wrong!

I like QS most with black wheels and accents, and it's too bad they didn't offer it on the PRO. I think it looks better on the 4Runner PRO for those reasons.

I've had my 17 Limited for about 6 weeks now. IMO it's the best color with that Hickory leather. Looks badass together! I like how the QS looks almost white at times and also very dark other times. Hides dirt well. One of my best friends gave me shit at first about the color. After I rolled by him on the road a few times he stopped by to say he actually loves the look of the truck. I get a lot of gawkers and head nods. People drive by it and circle back. I've had silver, black and white before in several different vehicles. This is by far my favorite color. I did like Cement also but wanted the limited. No serious off roading for me. Mostly roads and a few trails. Good luck!:oldglory:

Same here and that surprised me the most. I've had many vehicles of all colors and have never had as many compliments about a color. I'm sure there are haters but I haven't heard 'em personally. No remorse here.

I have had 3 unsolicited comments - they all love it, including one who walked across a crowded parking lot to tell me. It hides dirt and looks good, so I am totally happy.

Not to be negative, but the question was asked...I think QS is the ugliest color ever put on a vehicle.
Everybody is different. That's why they make different colors.
