    I just installed 2" wheel spacers on my '11 Taco. I wanted the wider tire look without killing my gas mileage by installing bigger tires. I'm noticing a bit of a shake in the steering wheel at 65-70 MPH that I'm not sure was there prior (I just bought it a few days ago). Has anyone else ever experienced this when using spacers?

    Go back and check all the bolts, make sure they are properly torqued. Maybe it's a tire balance issue that the spacers made noticeable?

    I don't even know what that means. I just checked the Amazon ad for the spacers; nothing says "hub centric".

    I might take the spacers off the front and see if the vibration disappears.

    Even hubcentric ones can have vibes if wheels are torqued down improperly. i had vibes with my spidertrax until i remounted em. Take all the wheels and spacers off, put them back on tighteing each nut little at a time in a star pattern.

    Do not over torque, i think the spidertrax ones recommend 85 lbs of tq

    LEFT BAD - RIGHT GOOD

    Left puts all wheel force onto studs, right centers it onto the hub and uses the hub to also hold the force of the wheel like the oem hub without a spacer normally would.

    These are not hubcentric, and are what's causing the vibration. Without the lip to perfectly center the wheel, the slightest bit off from center translates to vibrations at speed. Get rid of these asap and get some BORA or spidertrax spacers

    Sorry, you wasted $. Take them off before they cause issues and cost more $.
    There are a few companies that make good spacers. I run Spidertrax and have no issues recommending them.
