    glad i found my people in this thread by accident. my family and coworkers are HUGEEEEEE GoT fans. Time to "geek" out with you all. This week's episode....SICK!!!!! I did some research on the dagger that was given to Arya. Allegedly it is called Catspaw, and was one of the first daggers made by the first people of Valeryia (excuse my spelling, I just sound it all out). Since they were one of the initial "tribes" per say of the world and had this awesome steel, Valeryian Steel, that dagger was allegedly used to fight whit walkers back in the day. It is also called something else in valeryian that literally means fire sword in english....which is also one of the crazy theories about a sword called lightbringer. But anyways...to excited to be here and if anyone wants to geek it out im always willing to talk about GoT!!!!

    The dagger actually isn't mentioned in the old stories about the white walkers. Lightbringer is though. My lead theory is that lightbringer is a sword called the dawn. It's the sword of house Dayne and nobody has wielded it since Ser Arthur Dayne, the guy Ned supposedly defeated at the tower of joy.

    It's made of meteorite and as sharp and strong as Valyrian steel. It's fucking called the dawn... to end the long night...

    We have to keep in mind that GoT and A Song of Ice and Fire are two totally seperate entities at this point. And..Hell yeh ASOIAFwiki..

    Decided not to read anything as I don't want to spoil, but I just started watching it and I'm on season 1 episode 7. I personally don't care for the nudity as I'm a big action guy but the show overall is badass!
