Makes sense about some needs...still though it does leave a good amount of room to debate what you are willing to throw on it.

I doubt it's responsible for your wobble man. that could be tie rods / ball joints / alignment / tires out of balance or wearing uneven

but from what youre describing... I'd go OME lift, Dakar leaf pack, w/ LR UCAs and take the rest of the money you would have spent on Icons and put all new ball joints / tie rods / wheel bearings in

yep he only have 45k ish miles on his.... so it might not be ALL of those things mentioned... but he's likely not getting death wobble from a 2.5" spacer lift and a 2" block in the rear....

Could it be the needle bearing? I know as you get close to three inches of lift you start to push that component, although it does sound like wheel bearings are in order. He could always try to remove the wheel and the hub cover and see if there is any milky residue around it. Might see something, or might not.

Agreed. I would recommend spending the extra coin to get them new with the prepressed assemblies. They cost more, but the whole assembly is fresh and should make for install pretty straight forward. @nj636 is who I got my stuff from. He is in jersey, so it gets here pretty fast.

True, only issue is there is no easy way around getting that hub out first. You have to take a pry bar and very slowly shim it out by constantly pressing all sides. Its something worth paying someone for even with the assembly. Once it is off though, its just a simple bolt on process, but you have to once again be very careful in installing the hub assembly and ensure that the bolts are tightened down very evenly.

Yep, just stating that there are still challenges with a full hub assembly.

Since we all seem to be on TW all day long while at work, why don't we all just open an off-road park/Tacoma garage around here somewhere and quit our jobs?
