I agree. I'd rather be closer to where you are than where I am today. I'm down here, not a whole lot going on but not too far from everything either.

Put the box in the truck, since I had it shipped to my job. Now I have to remove it from the surround it came with, then do the same to mine, and pop it back on.

 

I drive my truck like a rally car... and have jumped it once since I got the new setup

I'm kinda between all of you guys. I like to be away from stuff but not too far away. I don't want to be over 15 minutes to get to any kind of store; department, groceries, hardware etc. Plus I like to have big cities fairly close for the food, Providence is about 20-25 minutes for me and Boston is less than 1 hour

 

I'm actually only 15 minutes to Concord NH so I'm in the country but not.

 

Gotta love NH. Could be in a town with 60 people for a graduating class, yet still be an hr from Boston, and 45 minutes to the coast. 45 minutes to ctr harbor, and hr to the ski resorts.

That's why i have a hard time moving again. I live in the city, yet an hr drive puts me on a lake that see 3 people fish it a year. Win win.


But I digress. Back to mod day? I mean if we time it right in the fall, October fest at harpoon is right up the road in VT.....

 

Here I thought my spot was perfect... (Waltham) some of you guys live in the sticks... haha

I moved into Waltham because it was easy access to all the major highways (95/90/Rt2) and far enough out of the city (15 min with no traffic) that it doesn't affect me... Meanwhile still within range of all the shops and stuff.

 

Another mod day would be sick... although I likely won't be able to make this one with my travel schedules. We need more gatherings regardless!!

 

The 'sticks of Massachusetts' seems like a contradiction in terms, lol.

 

I like to be near (within 1 hour) of a beach. Something warm enough to swim in. Nothing north of the Cape
