Whenever I see that color all I can think of is a pair of khaki pants and Jake from State Farm.

It takes abnormally large testicles to rock khakis. I have several pairs of khakis. :D

That's the only thing I don't like about it. If I wanted to drive a military looking vehicle I would have stayed in the army :D

It was between QS and Inferno. I picked Inferno. Though I do love the Inferno, I regret not getting QS. If I had originally picked QS, I'd probably be wanting the Inferno!!!!

I was in the same boat but i would regret not getting the inferno. I think QS is better at hiding dirt but whenever it's sunny and the inferno color pops I always have to stop and look at it. Definitely a special color.

Do you have hair on your chest?

"yes" = quicksand is for you.

"No" = stick to a neutral color.

The QS is great at hiding dirt and I like the color. I've had friends tell me the color is growing on them. IMO it needs the black accents to look best and is why I went for the OR.

Quicksand is the perfect off-roading color. Makes no sense it's not available for PRO.

It makes no sense to not have all the colors available for how expensive it is.

    Generally people like it.

But is it just me, or does this color look like crap on the 4Runner? I've seen a few of them and just don't like it on them like on the Taco.

Many, many manufacturers have tried to make a "military/desert" inspired color, but IMO, none of them tuned out well. Either too bright, too dark, the hue was off, the clear coat was too shiny, or something along those lines that just made me think "nice attempt, but I'll pass".

I saw a QS Tacoma in late 15' and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. Best looking off-road/tacticool paint color I've ever seen from a civilian auto manufacturer, ever.

It's 100% the reason I bought this Tacoma in the first place.

I agree. Plus the Quicksand color is a great match for all of my FDE custom painted firearms!

Honestly I wasn't in favor of the color when it came out but my son loved it and since the plan is to pass it to him in a couple of years I gave it a shot.....Now, I can't take my eyes off of it! Freaking love that thing so much that he may not get this baby.

Also, I get tons of compliments on the looks of it especially with the tattered American flags that I added below the mirror by Cboy808!

Inferno would be my next choice though!

Honestly love my quicksand taco. I’ve had 3 red trucks and it was definitely a change for me but it cleans and hides dirt very well. I’ve had a few people ask me about the color on IG. Especially when I post beach pics! AC65ED79-D48F-4052-B59C-1ED6ADE043DA.jpg

Absolutely no regrets. I love mine. I wanted inferno but my town was over run with the color at the time I was buying. Now it seems like you see more quicksands. Most folks seem to like it but I love it and that’s all that matters. Hope the rest buy another color

When I went to test drive a Tacoma, they pulled around in a QS one.
I looked at my wife and we both laughed.
We want back for a second look and drive and sure enough, here comes that weird tan, yellow, whatever it was depending on sunlight.
Looking online and then seeing one in the wild, it started to grow on us.
Then, my wife said...." I kind of think its cool now. It grew on me."
    And the same for me.

So I got one and spent an hour or two first day putting on matte black running boards and dark smoke in channel window visors to balance out the tan vs black and to match the fender flares.
I have got nothing but compliments the past 4 days I've had it.
