I don't think you have ever been out his way then. Less built up than where you are

 

Where do you usually go? Just the cape? I was looking for a river or something in the Blackstone Valley area but couldn't find much worth going to.

 

We have whisky for that. Haha. I just shoot up to the Maine beaches these days. Hampton is good for fried dough and comedy hr, but I like the quiet sands (rocks) these days.

 

There is nothing in Mass past Worcester... its the badlands for all I know....

 

Usually the southern part of the Cape (Dennis, Yarmouth) or to RI. Rhode Island has some beautiful beaches!

 

You could come on down to Douglas and go swimming at Wallum Lake. If you like obnoxiously loud cholo music, beer cans everywhere, and obnoxious people over every shoulder, you'd love it.

 

I know that Berkshire county is pretty rural, but I still wouldn't call it the Sticks. To me the Sticks is like the area around Jackman, or most of Aroostook county.

 

Gotcha - my family has a house in Dennis so I go there a decent amount. But wasn't sure if there were something closer I was missing to go to on a whim.

This ridge I wheeled up to, had been going up here for about 6 years before it got closed off. If anyone has heard about the air show in my town you can see the airport in the second pic. This spot is a 3 mile trail ride to my house.

 

Meh, still have Sturbridge and Springfield but lots of rural area.

 

Plus who wants to go to Springfield

 

I'm in Manchester. The location is great for how close it is to everything else. Also Manchester is fun in its own right, but I'm a townie so I guess I'm biased haha

Just turned 100k on the Taco and I'm in a mad rush to do a lot of maintenance. Does anyone have the ECGS bushing removal tool they could lend for a week or two?

I bet you have I commute from Warner to Nashua on the daily. There's some good trails and fishing in my area. You should come up!

Probably! I'm in hooksett all the time. I have a big as firestik antenna on the bed and an ExploringNH sticker on the back window. Wave next time you see me!

 

Pretty sure you quoted the wrong post. The history is cool but I'm pretty sure they no longer produce firearms in Springfield anymore. I don't recall where the new manufacturing facility is and I'm too lazy to Google it (plus most of the gun sites are blocked at work anyways).
