Looks like the LCA on my passenger side is leaking grease.

Is it urgent to get this replaced? Any issues just driving on it like this?

The rubber boot seems to have torn and grease is leaking all over.

Then it's the Lower Ball Joint not the LCA correct.

Unless you can replace the boot you will need to press out the old Lower Ball Joint, and press in a new Lower Ball Joint which I have heard is a real pain in the ass.

Maybe just replace the entire LCA then?

The real question is how urgent is this?

I would definitely say it's pretty urgent.

as long as grease is still around the ball joint your fine but if its gets dry, dirty or rusty change it out asap.

Yeah baby!!! Extended warranty covered this. Dealer was charging $1200 to replace the entire lower ball joint with control arm. Even got a free rental while they were doing it, and they had to do an alignment as well, so that was a plus since I haven't had an alignment in the 7 years I've owned the truck.

So apparently, this solved the clunk sound I had whenever I backed into my garage. I always thought it was the brake pads moving, but I guess this was the cause of the clunk the past few years. Guess not only was the grease leaking, it may have been loose or just the absence of grease made the metal to metal contact. Sweeeet!!!
