Bumper is ready to hang! I test ran the winch off a spare battery. Works like it's supposed to. Wireless remote will be here friday. (With rear bumper) I took the solenoid off the winch and relocated it to where the wired remote is a breeze to plug in. I'm about 75% finished with the 4-wheel cart that'll support the bumper while I roll it into place and bolt ot to the frame. Plan is to finish the cart and start pulling bumper cover when I get home tomorrow.

    Skids thursday evening.

    Moving right along!

Day-um! Package on front porch. Smittybilt snatch block. (Heavier of the 2 they offer) from 4wheel parts. Should be another package in a couple days. Four 7/8" pin shackles w/rubber isolators for front and rear bumpers.

The wife just asked me how much this is costing....

I'm closing in on the $4900 mark so far this month. Her reply was, "Is that all? I know how bad you've been wanting to do this. You should keep going until you get it like you want it".

    Hmmmmm!

    V8 conversion?

    Kings?

I'm hoping that I'm not reading something into this that isn't going to happen, but....No one has seen or heard from Asshat for 6 days. No phone calls, no text messages, no e-mails, nothing. And a couple board members have requested the presence of all the management staff for a noon meeting. :fingerscrossed:

My 40's were great. The 50's were rough as hell. Maybe the 60's will alternate back to greatness!

He wasn't here for that. Last we saw him was this past Thursday afternoon. Very UNlike him to leave us alone that long. Normally, I'd expect 40 or 50 text messages in that length of time.

He should know just what sort of shit storm will follow the drinking episode at the pool party. Word is our liquor license will be suspended 90 days. That represents approximately 30% of our revenue. The members will want his head on a platter because he WASN'T here.

We've been hearing a rumor, and it's turned out to be true....A petition is circulating to have him fired. So far they have just over half the members signatures. I'd sign it if they'd let me!

Moar stuff and things! I'd miss my fog lights....So I went ahead and ordered Rigid fogs to fit Pelfrybilt bumper. Also picked up a Warn hook for the winch. (on sale) Just a little higher grade than the one included with the winch. Hook also has a bottle opener built into it! Local shop has a Warn winch cable "blanket" they're giving me. (Send 'em a lot of business)

This ends the current ordering spree until everything is here and installed.

    Still "on the list" to consider;

Lights for rear bumper, light bar for front bumper (Rigid or Baja Designs)
    Front locker
    Wheels (Toyota "SEMA")
Swing out spare tire carrier (Pelfrybilt)
    MAYBE a grill

I have NOT ordered the AllPro leafs yet. Waiting to see how the truck reacts to all the new stuff before I decide which one of the 2 options I'll go with. I do NOT like suspension that is too stiff.

Getting to know FED EX and UPS delivery guys on a first name basis.

I am bound and determined to have the truck the way I want it before Harlan. This will be done!
