The bad part of when times are good is everyone's working. Including the guys who shouldn't.

Every one should be working just at the job that fits them the best. Like back when I was a kid McDonalds would hire "special employees" to wipe down tables and stuff. We shouldn't be paying guys that should be table wipers $40 per hour to run tractors or $30 per hour to sweep gutter pans

Agree 100%. There are tools in every industry.
Take this guy for example. He washed this car not once but TWICE today before he realized maybe this isn't the best spot to set up a wash station. IMG_5129.jpg

In a mfg building, never, ever use the bathroom. By the end of the day, they're the most disgusting messes ever.

On a side note, we had a 300# dude we dubbed "el gato" for his ability to perch on the crapper. That was never pretty. Lucky me though…I got to go to his boss and explain the situation. Could. Not. Stop. Laughing.

The last apprentice i had was an ex con with tattoos on his face. It took me 2 months to teach him how to bend simple bends. Im so glad i dont have to deal with those aholes any more. But i do have to deal with the stupid old salty fucks.
