And I wasn't trying to slam Glock by any means. Like I said, I very much enjoy shooting mine, and if I had to pick one handgun to carry through the apocalypse it'd probably be the G19, just for the sake of sheer reliability under all conditions.

I did read a good article in this month's G&A issue (or maybe in American Rifleman?) by Kyle Lamb about how Glock owners are showing some of the same tendencies that the old '1911 Snobs' had, back when the polymer pistols were first being introduced. Didn't agree with him completely, but he had some good points. Seems like we gun owners in general tend to pick a brand and defend it zealously against all comers, real and perceived.

Oh no I am not saying one brand is better than the other but I am saying is I like Glock and it works for me :D I could care less if someone bashes Glock because at the end of the day it's what I trust and they trust their brand. I am just half way through my coffee so still on the dickish side

I really need to trade in for the XDs-9. I think I would like it a lot better than the 45

I did keep my 45 because it's one of them that has gone back through Springfield and head the recall modification already gone and it has my name attached to it, but the 9 mm I got is a two-tone so it's easy to tell them apart and I really like the two-tone, it makes for a sexy gun!

Why do I give shit to the Glock? Obviously I love my XDS, with that said the comparable counterpart in Glock is the G36. Which is sadly no comparison at all, the G 36 was a complete train wreck and Glock should have never made it. Never have I held a short 45 that was so ill behaved in your hand then the G 36. I am a very proficient shooter and when I shot it for the
(4 minutes in dog years) I owned it, it almost left his hand that's how bad it is economically To hold and shoot. And anybody that defends it, I am calling bullshit on and they are only looking at it through rose colored Glock glasses and not really being non-biased towards Glock. I own a couple glocks and a fan of them but the
G 36 should have never been made !
