We bled the brakes pretty well.
Is it common for them to get air in them somehow after that?

Yeah the clamps that hold the CV boots in place either shifted or aren't strong enough and have cause the grease that is packed in there to come flying out while I was driving

I "tried" to clean it all up and fix it but to no avail. So
Now it's not moving from where it's parked til it's been looked at and fixed by someone wayyyyy more competent and experienced with these issues than myself.

And when that's done it will go right to toyota HB

Brakes won't get air in them unless they get so hot the fluid boils which is not the case here. If your pedal is going to the floor then you have a loose line somewhere which should be easy to find since it would be leaking. Looks like grease contaminated pads to me. Hard to tell if the boot is even on all the way? Did the Baja dorks assemble them? I know those clamps come real close to lower arm especially at droop.

Agreed man, @Hawk373 check out my sig...I got a thread on just removing the bedsides. As others have said, it is ALL bolt on with the exception of the gas tank lid and cubby. These can be removed after taking the bedsides off though.

Damn man, holy shit your luck in this process has not been very good. Hope things get sorted out as Im sure you are pretty livid with Baja kits at this point.

Actually now that I think about it, when my cv went bad I got some grease on accident on the rotor. It took a second for me to stop until the rotor burned the grease off. My guess is that my be what happened in your case. You could try your luck since you have to chill anyway with using a flathead or 8mm socket and try wrenching some on the clamps? Then you can drive, assess, whipe, until the CV clamp either seals the leak or you prove that its not the clamp...?

You could always do the trailside fix with a trash bag and duct tape. Then a can of brake clean to the brakes. I guess this is why I carry a spare set of brake pads.

Test fitting my bypasses with bump stops. Clearance is tight but it fits! TC hoop and 3.5 arms. I'm going to grind a little off the upper bump stop bolt. This is also at full droop past the limit straps.

Speaking of brakes, self inflicted idiocy on my part-
I installed a new rear diff, did the trick where you don't undo brake lines, just unbolt from axle and stretch out, I bolted everything back up except the soft line to hard line bracket in the axle, left that loose because the bolt rolled off and I figured I'd get it later. Flash forward a month, and just got back from Pismo, everything's working fine...two days ago I get up to go to work, notice my parking brake light is staying on...hmmm weird, maybe the brake cable is snagged or just not fully engaging, must have tweaked something in Pismo, I'll check it out when I get home...everything is fine right up until I pull up to work and my brakes all of a sudden are spongy. Fuck...well when I get off I'll check it out. Ok, 12 hours later, crawl under the truck in the parking lot, passenger side soft line on the axle bracket (still not attached to the axle, doh!) Has come loose and there's a puddle of brake fluid under the truck. FML right?. So I limp over to AutoZone about a mile away, (emergency flashers the whole way, taking it super slow) I've got about 1" of brake pedal that actually works barely...top off the brake fluid, it's only missing about 1/4 of a bottle, so double fuck that means air in the lines. Spend about 20 minutes with an AutoZone goon trying to bleed them, he has no idea how to hold a pedal apparently. "Ok pump it three times and hold it" I start bleeding, notice both his feet on the ground and nothing coming out of the bleed, "wtf man?" "Oh I didn't know you wanted me to hold it in". Repeated about 4 times where he held it for another couple of seconds and let off.. Finally I just say Fuck it, I got a bit of air out, have a little bit more brake pedal, limp it home, order speed bleeders, will be doing those this week. Praying it's not in the master cylinder and I don't have to pay Toyota and arm and a leg to bleed it.

I had never heard of speed bleeders! Neat concept, wonder if they would work on race trucks? I hate having to bleed the brakes on them specially since it's two bleeders at each caliper.

Yeah they look pretty interesting. An integrated check valve in the bleeder basically. Bought one for each wheel and the little cute baggie and hose to catch the oil in.

    Stuff and junk and things...
The Large nut installed on the CV stub shaft? OR did it come loose and letting the wheel bearings separate? That can pull the caliper out and cause the soft brake pedal.

M7x1.0 on the front and M10x1.0 on the backs. I might have reversed those, but those were the two sizes needed for front and back.

Not only raises the lights without getting out of the seat but really helpful to be able to aim and/or point lights to look up a hill or something

My old bumper had one. Range of motion was limited but it was nice to be able to adjust lights to driving conditions

The actuator was hidden in my bumper so I don't have any pics. Your best bet will be to pull up the grainger catalogue and look at your options to see what fits the dimensions of your build.
