What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I say keep the red! It's nice contrast. You could always get fancy and leave it trimmed in red but paint the rest black?

Side note, can you PM a link to those fogs? I like the black reflectors.

That would be fancy right there for sure! Something to think about. The figs are actually nothing special. They are just Morimoto XB LED fogs. There was a GB going on a while back I think for them. I actually bought them off of another member a while back. You can get them from the retro fit source.

Found a leaking steering rack. '07 with 141k miles.



I will be getting a rebuilt rack with new inner and outer tie rods here in near future.

Also inspected my rear brakes. Still a bit of shoe left, so I will tackle this after the steering rack.

 

I was always under the impression that the aftermarket ones were heavier than stock?

 

I'm currently running aftermarket wheels but considering switching to a lighter aftermarket wheel.

 

Let me know if that white surround doesn't find a home. I'm interested. I hate that chrome.

Run it through the grommet on the firewall.

 

I think those are the ones i got and the driver side loses contact at the highest point and they bounce too. Not real sure WTF is going on with it but it seems like its not flexing enough. The passenger side it fine. Just got them 2 weeks ago.

 

Yeah for the 100th time, get rid of that bull bar! Get a light bar to hold up the light. Maybe something like this. Looks better and less overhang

 

You guys love hating on the bull bars...

Either something like that, in the future, or just mount it behind the grill, since it's mesh.

 

2 Round lights behind grill looks better IMHO

 

A guy I work with has that type of set up. His lights are yellow though.

 

That was Denis's @64Wildcat Tacoma. Looked great, esp with a bumper!

 

Ran a stubby 8" antenna for a while but suffered from poor reception especially with HD stations. Grabbed this guy off Amazon. 22" tall so much shorter than the stock 31". I'd say even better reception than stock too.
