    Please somebody tell me that you can convert front rotors off another Tacoma or 4Runner and put it on your rear end without having to buy a kit

    why not look into rear disk brake conversions instead of looking to use your front disk brakes in the rear?

    Sure if you have the skill to fabricate and source your own parts and the money most anything can be done.

    Most people choose to buy a kit to save all that messy trail and error stuff which can be fun in it`s own way

    $400 is actually a really good price for everything that u get. 2 new loaded calipers with integrated e-brake, 2 rotors 2 SS break lines, the brackets and all the hardware. I don't think you could assemble that kit yourself for much less then that . . . . And they take the responsibility if something breaks and you get into an accident because of their parts failure . . .
