I don't think it's that hard to do. Drywall goes up easy. Rent a drywall lift if you are doing the ceilings. Mud, tape, mud . Let it dry. knock down any high lines with your scraper. wide coat of thinned mud. Once you are happy with the work get a texture spray gun (if you have an air compressor) they are cheap. Thin the mud very much and spray away. cover anything you don't want over spray on (floors, doors, windows etc.).

Nice, but that would never survive in WI. And it would be a B$%&@ to snowblow:annoyed:

I had the same door on the back of the house for close to a decade. Love it! That deadbolt is nice to, open the window at night and leave the door open.

Went with something similar years ago, no problems... so far:fingerscrossed:

    Ummm... NO!
Sounds like your using the wrong size wire nut. A pic would be helpful.

I would say no. Try getting different sized wire nuts or something.

I have a bunch of different sizes I'll look for some smaller ones. Here is how small the lamp wire is IMG_4139.jpg

Paintings sucks buts it's so easy I'd have a hard time paying someone to do it. I had my buddy who drywalls for a loving mud and tape and he had 300sqft addition done and my kitchen walls and ceiling done in two, two hour, days. If mud dried fast he could have been done in one go.

Blue should definitely work. Yellow is generally for solid wire unless it's a heavy stranded wire.

You did a really great job with this house! I lived in Philly for 12 years, its crazy how these neighborhoods are changing. I moved to the 22nd and Bainbridge block about 16 years ago and that was an iffy neighborhood, now pointbreeze and even parts of kensington are popular spots. I really miss that city. Great job either way!

Where did you get that double vanity from?
