    My brother drives an 03 Tundra (4.7) with well over 400k miles, no major work done. Just fluids, tires, brakes, and I think one oil filter housing gasket.

    He should be on his 4th timing belt by now. That's the only downside to the 4.7, and they are not cheap to replace. My dealer usually changes the water pump at the same time, and the total cost is around $1k.

    They probably did the timing belt, maybe a couple water pumps too, but relatively basic stuff for the mileage in the truck.
