I'm curious for double cab owners: do you use the rear sliding window? Can you reach it from the driver's seat? Or is it too far of a reach?

I use mine all the time. I'm 6'7" so I can reach back to open it. During the summer time I'll leave it open alot just to keep my truck cool. It's nice to have open so my girl doesnt complain with the other windows down while I'm smoking. Cant have her hair get messed up!

My only complaint about the window (other than the lack of power) is that the weather seal likes to get pulled out by the sticker I have on the back window so I have to be a little carefull opening and closing it.

I think I've opened mine up once just to say I opened it. I love rolling with the windows down, but I always forget about the one just because I can open all 4 other ones automatically.

I just find it funny when you have it open and if you have leaves or plastic bag they fly in.

    haha this...

I had mine open one time driving down the freeway, also had an empty can of dr. pepper sitting in the bed. So there I am on the 101 going about 75 in the fast lane and all of a sudden "WWWHHHAAAAAMMMMM"!!! The can flew through the window and smacked the dash in between the two front seats. Scared the crap out of me.

I hardly ever use it while in the city.

Only times I really use it is when going camping or such... The cooler is in the back and within arms reach from the rear window... Gotta have passengers of course.

Had a Webasto 700 series installed for about $800 and some change. The Sunglass holder was removed, but everything else remained intact as is.

Some models keep the sunglass holder, it just depends on which one you get and the year and model of your taco.

    Good info in this thread:
