Glocks are the Cindy Crawford of guns. In the 80's and 90's they were Perfect. They're still pretty damn good, but there's some newer designs that I'd rather wrap my hands around.

    Just one manchild's opinion.

    Ok.

I've heard similar things about the 1911 platform. Which, like the Glock platform, is inherently awesome. And, like the Glock platform, has flaws that newer designs have worked to address/correct.

I love them both, but I have yet to find a 'perfect' gun, regardless of brand. I love pretty much all of them, though. They're like boobs, lol. If I see 'em, I want to touch 'em!

Earlier you mentioned you had a reason for always supporting glock no matter what, care to share? Why bring it up otherwise?

Very interesting! I wonder how Sig will address this issue especially given the fact that he mentioned sharing his test results/findings with Sig.

they already have made a statement:
    https://www.sigsauer.com/press-releases/sig-sauer-issues-voluntary-upgrade-p320-pistol/

basically "there is no issue, but if there is, we will fix it with something we've designed because its a non issue. Even though nothing is wrong"

Subjective opinion. I'm left handed and will pick up a Glock before anything else.

Newer designs are purely esthetics. Glocks function.

I fawking love Glocks and I'm left handed.

I'd pick a Gen4 Glock any day over any Ambi sidearm there is out there including but not limited to a CZ P10, HK VP9, Walther PPQ, etc.

Lots of good guns out there, but when you beat the shit out of Glocks like I do, with little to no cleaning, even suppressed and they always work, that's what I want.

Not something that "looks cool" or fires itself like a Sig P320 lol.

would bet it will be a trigger replacement similar to the X5 triggers or a trigger like APEX.

yeah yeah, drop the gun in a way that is not under standard testing procedure. Honestly surprised its taken so long to get posted! Pure inertia is what causes the trigger to move back and fire the striker.

sig has a voluntary fix that will be released 8/14. It is being addressed, and I still carry my p320.

Their statement doesn't seem absurd to me at all. In fact it seems like a statement any company in their situation would likely make to cover their ass until they are able to offer some type of fix.

GOD YES! Where do you live lol?

My first Glock 19, I cleaned once in 4 years and had less than 3 FTF/FTEs.

That sucks. I have a P320 and it's a great gun. Hopefully it won't be a pain in the ass to have this fixed.
