Time to dump the taco and these are my two choices. Cant decide if I want the ecoboost or the chevy. I think I like the look of the chevy best! My last chevy never gave me any issues.

That chevy looks clean AF! Don't care for the fender flares on the ford.

I voted F150 because I always wanted one. But Chevy did make this catchy tune.

Which feels best when you drive it?

FYI, my co-worker has a Silverado, it's the "smitty99" truck of the Silverados and seems to be at the dealership once a month for warranty work. Right now he's dealing with a software patch that seems to have locked down his entertainment system.

My GMC was a great truck. Never had an issue. Just make sure you get the 6.2L engine

im changing from diesel Colorado to the 18 Tacoma dbcb off road. I can say the f150 or chevy full size is more comfortable. I just don't want to go back to full size and don't need room or towing more than 4k. Like the smaller size to get around and park in garage. otherwise id prefer the f150 lifted as you show!!

There is a reason the F-150 is not only the best selling truck but often the best selling vehicle month to month. I would get an F-150 but if I REALLY wanted a new truck I would wait on the Ranger.

I think the new chevy front ends are hideous. Both are a bit bro-dozer for my taste, but my family is a ford family with the exception of me and never had any issues with them, I vote F150.

I traded my '15 EcoBoost for my Tacoma. The power in the ecoboost is unreal. I have a '96 Bronco that I towed on a Uhaul trailer from Phoenix to California. The F150 was lifted 6" on 35's and it yanked it with no issues. Ford bought the Ecoboost design from Toyota. Either size (2.7 or 3.5) is a great motor. I didn't like the resale numbers on the F150 nor did I need the full-size capabilities anymore and decided to trade. I'm very happy with my decision but the F150 was a good truck. AND.... Chevy is still trying to fit round wheels into square wheel wells....that shit drives me crazy and looks awful. My 2 cents.

Idk if the chebby comes with the 3 seating upfront option like the GMC Sierra but if it does that would be my choice. But i would just be sure to disable the AFM control for longevity.

I do like the F150 in the 5.0L because i think it has better visibility but I'd stay away from any ecoboost unless it's just a two year purchase.

    Tough choice, best of luck
    Cheers

    F150.

At least the round tires are in round fenders (overlooking the nasty flares)

And if you do go Chevy, like others have said, get the 6.2 V8.

Any of the other GM V8s will get absolutely spanked by either of the Ecoboost engines.

The 6.2 can hold its own (unless the Ecoboost gets a chip/intake/exhaust. 500+ HP)

    none yet/none planned! It's perfect!
I am better at fixing motors than fixing rust so the F150!

Sometimes I need to check to make sure I am on a Tacoma website!
