You know you will be out numbered by Jeeps out there this weekend... there is a big Jeep event from what I hear - I know folks that canceled their trip out there because of it.

Im down for Friday, I may get there early . I believe everyones meeting at the Mc D's off Sierra at 8 pm.

Do you guys have any sort of game plan as far as what trails at Lytle Creek ? Or what time we will actually be hitting the trail ?

The main trail looks like Sheep Creek Rd which turns in to Sheep Creek Truck Trail, it starts after you pass the Applewhite campground on the right. In the beginning its just a fire road, then it splits up looks like they both dump you out on Lone Pine Canyon Rd. From looking at the map it looks like Sheep Creek Rd runs adjacent to Lytle Creek Rd and they connect near Baldy Rd.

You can be leader. lol. Maybe after that we can take old hwy 66 up to cleghorn rd. Then take the 15 to 138 and take that dirt rd on the side of the fwy. That leads to an offroad area. Ever been there?

since my truck is out right now, i might tag along if its cool and enjoy some beerrrs. When on sheep canyon your on a ridge. u can drop down into lytle creek by takin the 4n33 or into lone canyon by the 4n29 or 4n31. If u take 4n33 into the creek it will spit u out where you first started near the applewhite campground

is this the one that takes you by the train tracks where you can drive underneath that bridge ? Never been there but I see lots of people riding quads and dirt bikes back there, you can see it when your going up Cajon Pass .

Yea that's it. You can take it more north west and you end up on some trails. Just really whooped out though.
