Fighting the urge to stick a pair of mis-matched shackles on there to see what the look like.

OUCH! Legs are raging. Crawling around on the driveway and getting up and down 100 times and now I can't sleep.

    Damn this is fun!

Just found my bottle of leftover hydrocodone from the surgery 1-1\2 ago. One of them kills the pain and puts me straight ass asleep.

Well now. Interesting morning. First, I have to detour around a "police situation" about a block from work. There's a fairly new business suite/motel there. Seems they had a double murder in the parking lot just after 4AM. Then I finally get in my office and there's an e-mail....my sliders have shipped....2 weeks sooner than expected! Should be here Monday or Tuesday. Next week is going to be busy! All sorts of stuff showing up!

    Get 'er DONE!

TV news reports ONE dead, another in critical condition from the shooting. It apparently happened at another location, then they drove to the motel parking lot.

Asshat walked in about 9AM, went immediately to his office and wasn't seen or heard from the rest of the day.

I have a string of emails from him this morning about all sorts of subjects, but mostly just whining and complaining.

Meeting was a phishing expedition. Several board members wanting the low down on asshat and his mis-management history. They're looking at ways to get rid of him. Will require violations of terms of his contract, or, as I'm telling everyone, turn up the heat on him. Get him to quit.

This place never let's up.....This morning I have to start dealing with a new crisis. One of the cooks apparently "assaulted" my head of housekeeping yesterday after I left. (Ass grabbing) Starting with an interview with her, then getting witness statements (3 witnesses) Then I'll meet with his boss (Executive Chef) followed by interview with cook, and writing him up. If he is uncooperative, I'll write him up for that too. He already has one write up in the last year. 3 and you're out. I've had problems with him previously and would love the opportunity to send him on down the road. Ex Chef likes this guy. Having him here enables the Chef to pick and choose his hours. The Chef will probably attempt to cover for the cook. This won't be pleasant.

This was once such a fun job when all I did was fix shit.

Slade! Declared a "Certified Kentucky Trail Town" now! Some of us already knew it was before they put up a sign!

Been seeing these 'trail town' signs on 64 more and more. I figured it was for hiking, not wheeling.
