I had America's (Discount) Tire order my 275/70 16. It's not a popular size either and they had them there in a day.

    204 each
    16 install each
    28.50 certificate each
    1.75 CA fee
(2.00) recycling fee waved, I kept old tires.
(8.00) TPMS fee waved, I guess they liked me
    -------
~250 each before tax. Same price as one KO2 in my size.....

Also, I bought certs because I plan to destroy a tire at some point

Also, I dropped my front left tire one psi below the front right and my right pull is nearly gone. Interesting

Not a manufacturer warranty. America's (Discount) Tire assumes the manufacturer warranty when you buy the certs, so they will take any warranty they can collect.

You pay then about 13% of the cost of the tire when you get them installed and they will replace the tire if they cannot repair it. The cert does not cover damage from traffic accidents or vandalism like a knife in the side wall. Cert expires when tread is 3/32.

Punctures in shoulder, punctures in side wall, large punctures in tread, delamonation, tears, etc. I assume I will kill at least one tire. I've paid about 115 for the certs. When they replace one, you pay 16 to have it removed, installed, and balanced and then the price of a new cert. So the first of this tire is still less than buying one new tire... That's how I see it. They will usually replace 3 of a set of 4 before they start looking into why they are replacing them...

I have had certs on every tire I've bought from them. I have broken about even but that was with much cheaper car tires where the 16 install fee was closer to the price of a tire and I didn't off road on any of them. I could have bought certs for the Wranglers that came with the truck because they do that, but I knew I'd be getting new tires if anything happened to these

Rotating seemed to help the shimmy, but not the pull.
