    I don't think I've ever heard of a trans to go bad on the 1st gens. The A340 series is pretty solid

    Rusty from the salt belt... was a NJ truck before I got it and brought it to CT and then out to CA.

    Trans needed a clutch... and was locking me out of 5th quite often as well as whining pretty bad...

    Wonder if the guy who bought it from me did anything to it... or just flipped it....

    Frame was replaced a year before I bought it... But that's literally all they replaced... Everything else was pretty rusty. Body was in pretty good shape though. Served its time with me well... I got my use out of it

    Really wanted full rear doors so upgraded to a DCLB
