Yeah $300 could get you everything I'm pretty sure. It's not bad honestly, plus I bet there are a lot more write-ups for 2nd gens than 1st gens when I was doing them

Welp, time for a roof mounted light bar, ditch lights, and a bar in the lower valance

Definitely going for a hidden one in the lower valance

Will NOT be putting one on the roof, for reasons.

Ditch light brackets/RI sideshooters sitting in the man cave

Just need to wire up this blue sea fuse panel...sometime this century

I too have a fuse box waiting to be installed :anonymous:

But now I just need lights so I can wire up the negative wires to the box and do final install

    Same.
Raining today, so I'll probably work on the mount bracket and finish up cutting holes and prep for primer/paint. Won't be able to prime or paint today. though. I don't do that in high humidity.

You might wanna get some emery cloth to knock off whatever surface rust might have collected. And a big jug of mineral spirits, thinner, or acetone.

I used acetone for my prep after a flap wheel. Got at Wally's in the auto section, meant for car painting. Evaporated much quicker than I wanted really. Didn't allow the metal to really get 'wet' and let me wipe of anything without moving the rag around like a coked out jackrabbit

So yesterday my mower gave me the ANGERY when it decided that the rear wheel adjuster wanted to snap off in the middle of a yard, bottoming out the ass end of the mower and "burning" the grass there. Fortunately this customer doesnt give a shit what the yard looks like, and refused a refund. Well obviously I have to go back today and finish.
It's a good thing I have a parts mower for this thing, the one my dad ran over like two years ago. You have to replace the whole damn rear axle!
I'd be screwed if I didn't hold on to this old mower. Packrat FTMFW!
