    It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    how much power are people getting out of those? what were they originally in?

    The 2JZ-GTE was in the Supra MKIV, the holy grail of JDM sports cars.

    and the is300s have a variation of the 2jz-ge? i would expect transmission problems soon at that mileage as well

    And yes, Scotty. For some reason Lexus has had lots of issues with the IS and GS trannys lasting forever like all the other shit. So pay close attention to how it shifts when you test drive it. But since you're mr. money bags anyways, it won't be a deal breaker. :rolleyes:

    ha, no. I'm looking for a DD so I'm not scared to try things as much when I'm out wheeling because I'll have another car. Having one vehicle makes even minor things an issue because you HAVE to get it fixed.
