Anyone have advice for getting a pioneer head unit with metra dash kit to fit properly? I don't know how many times I've tried to readjust the radio, but something is always off no matter what

Check to make sure there is no interference from wiring behind the HU.

For me it took a lot of adjusting on the black mounts that hold the actual radio in. When that was finally fit right then the bezel/trim piece finally snapped in correctly and flushed up nice. Also i only tightened the 4 bolts holding the radio snug so they still have a little room to budge. then i fit the final trim piece and let the radio move a bit while it lined up, then carefully took the trim piece back off without moving the radio and tightened the 4 bolts. Then put the trim back on again. Hope that makes sense.

Took yalls advice and adjusted the radio with the bolts loosened and then tightened them with the dash kit in place. Also relocated the rear diff breather from the gas cap location to the rear box IMG_2333.jpg

Sorry I was being sarcastic about the stealership charging people for undercoating and then still having to replace a couple thousand frames.

I don't know what all these guys are talking about, I just want my steering wheel wrapped. I already have a wife and I can barely handle her. I'm not trying to bring in a second :anonymous:

Saw a couple of people had done this and I had the breather sitting in the toolbox so I figured why not.

Sure. It doesn't really matter where you put it as long as its up. Mine is next to my gas cap but if I did it over again I'd probably put it behind the light since sometimes I hit mine when I'm pumping gas (not that that does anything to it).
