But then this is all true too. You get sooo much more for your money with Ram, and I've heard their lease deals can get pretty tasty.....

jup and its got a manual transmission option on the Cummins diesel engine, an excellent option for the hard core offroaders:thumbsup: when you combine price, reliability, quality and resale Dodge comes out the clear winner.

RAM could be the best truck in the world and I still wouldn't purchase one only because it has this

I just had my GMC replaced by GM only to get another horrible one. Unless you get the 6.2 you need to run and run far away from Chevy. The 6.2 is a good engine by anyone's standard. For me it would be EB or Coyote Ford all day every day and I have owned tons of GMs over the years. Google GM vibration problems and cabin pressure issues.

Don't let sticker price on domestics fool you... you can get a 4x4 silverado for about the price of a decently configured 4x4 double cab tacoma

but if you had the RAM think of all the trips to the Dealer for all the recalls and hassles with the transmission you have with the 3rd GEN Tacoma, the RAM has bulletproof reliability

The new ecoboost they fixed the carbon issue. Besides carbon build up isn't much of an issue if you open it up every once in a while :D

    This is true

We currently have a High County 4x2 5.3L on order for the boss, fully loaded (rear ent, sun roof, etc)
    MSRP $61,440

Only 700 lbs heavier than a tacoma. How is it a heavy pig? It's a lot bigger than a tacoma and so is everything else

Has anyone caught on to the fact that all the manufactures are complete shit?
Ford has a ton of issues google that.
GM has a ton of issues google that.
Ram has a ton of issues(and they are owned by fucking FIAT) google that.
Toyota has a ton of issues with the Tacoma and Tundra so google that to.

I worked as a service adviser for a Toyota dealer so I know a thing or two regarding the Tundra and Taco issues.
I've owned a F150, Ram 2500, multiple Silverado's, and multiple Tacomas's all of which were current or last generation.

So basically do your research, roll the dice, and get what you want.
You're not going to find much of a conclusion here.

    P.S. My 2014 F150 was a pile of shit.

I wasn't comparing it to a tacoma. We were comparing the silverado to f150.

    2015 Ford F-150 Platinum 3.5L EcoBoost 4WD SuperCrew
    5577 pounds

    2015 Chevrolet Silverado High Country 1500 6.2L 4x4 8-Speed Automatic
    5658 pounds

Not much weight savings for the use of aluminum. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
