Correct. the light duty pack plus AAL equals the heavy duty pack.

I have a CBI plate bumper with swingout/spare tire with one jerry can usually full. I also have a Bestop. I'm looking to get a bed rack and to move my RTT from the cab to the bed rack. I'd like no more than 1.5 inches of rear lift. any suggestions on leafs? Seems everything I've found is for 2-3 inches.

    thanks for the tip.

from the Wheeler's website it say's

"...Due to removal of the factory overload spring there will be a decrease in gross max weight handling capability over the stock leaf packs."

I take it these are more for high speed bump absorbing as opposed to handling weight?

Icon rxt pack. In option2 configuration. In the bed are: pelfrey high clearance, custom bed rack, 8 gal rotopax, ex85x snomaster fridge, 40x40 solar panel, fsr high country led tent, solar box with: 2x 6v batteries (62lbs each battery), inverter, solar controller and fans. Will likely move to the full loaded setup as what's missing is bedslide and wilco hitchgate swing out and spare wheel/tire.

I've heard the bumpstops contact at speed under decent compression but haven't felt full bottomout.

I was running the fox dsc at full open hsc and 1 click lsc. Now I'm running 2clicks hsc and 6 lsc and it feels pretty spot on with load. I also added 700lbs springs to the front and run 1 hsc and 5 lsc but rebound feels too fast with the heavier spring so I'll likely send them in to revalue from the 40 to 70 shim stacks.

@JerryTaco @blackohio Do you have to run Icon shocks in order to run the Icon RTX pack? I have kings and do not have rebound adjustments like @blackohio. Appreciate the input.

@Danactive A member here @transworldmoto who is Bay Area local ran both AllPro leaf pack options on his truck and has since moved to the HD expedition pack on his rig. He carries a ton of weight. Might hit him up for a review.
    Thanks

I don't have rebound adjustment on the fox. Springs don't care about valving as far as progressive or digressive. The icon is nice as you can control the rebound speed same as the bilsteins externally. For the fox or king kits you'd need to have the revalved potentially. On the front 700# it feels a little fast on the rebound side but nothing unlivable.

Important note for fox owners. Neither of the hsc/lsc circuits operate unless you are one click in on either. Otherwise it's a full open circuit for both. So if you're running some lsc but no high speed and if feels wallowy, add a click of hsc to move the circuit out of full open

Correct, were you confused by my comment? OP is carrying under 400lbs and wants 1.5" lift

The U402 pack provides 3" of lift constant load.

I can add some additional insight here. As @My Truck stated, I've run both @allpro 2.0 leaf packs, and am currently running their Expedition 2.0 pack, which they state will support well over 1000#'s without sagging. I originally ran their 2.0 HD spring packs, which did not fair well with my ~600+#'s of constant load. They sagged enough to sit on my sumo springs, which I removed and swapped for Timbren's. They took only a few days to settle onto those, as well.

Swapping to the Expedition 2.0's solved my sag issues, for the most part. I've been running these for approximately 2.5 months now and have been able to maintain just under 2.75" of lift over stock with very minimal sag under additional loads. That's impressive (IMO) considering I carry 38L's of water, a fully stocked Front Runner drawer system (~250#s), Snugtop Rebel, CBI hi clearance rear bumper with swing out, hi lift jack, etc. As a matter of fact, I returned last night from a three day camping trip along Slick Rock trail at Lake Alpine, and the springs performed great.

Hopefully this info helps pic the right springs. I have no experience with Deavers, but have heard nothing but positives. Yes, they're expensive, but I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for (with a little bit of research, of course). Cheers!

My bad, I did not realize you didnt have rebound adjustment. I was confused about the HSC and LSC until I looked them up. What year is your Tacoma, as I am curious about upgrading to 700lb springs?

Why did you swap out the sumos? Just curious?

'16. The 700# would benefit from a revalve at the time of install. Fox only charges $35/shock to go from the 40 shim to the 70 or 90. I'll be doing it shortly.

Under constant load (the sumos would stay in contact with the bump stop perches) the sumos started to make an annoying “squish” sound, that was not very confidence inspiring. Plus, I’m order to save some flex, I went with the Timbrens, which are almost an inch shorter. I may go back to the sumos, since they help maintain height, although I’m not sure if that’s their intended purpose, or if it is recommended to run them that way.
