Well first off my Tacoma is an 07 OR. I have 265/70/17 KO2s and Fox 2.0 IFPs with rear AAL 2"front and back.
Now I'm looking for new UCAs do to bump steering. I didn't think I needed them but sounds like that will cure the bump steering. Any help would be appreciated.

Lots of people going with light racing ucas, but icon, camberg, total chaos I think are all great. I'm running the tubular icons, and they work just fine. Check the parts market place, they come up on here fairly often.

I think the general consensus is that if you aren't going to be beating on it, the light racing ones will be more than fine, but the uni-ball style ones are stronger, but more expensive (of course). Both correct for geometry issues due to lift, so it's really down to your budget.

Call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and see what she recommends.

Even if you decide to wait and see if you can score used ones, at least you'll know some good options for new.

I've had LR and now have Total Chaos. I'm concerned with the uniball and the Northeast winter but I make sure to spray them with dry lube every service. Anecdotally, my co-worker has the LR arms on his Tacoma and he's already had to replaces the joints on his after 5000 miles - under warranty of course.

It would help if they actually TRIED to adjust the caster/camber. :frusty:

    You got the "Toe&Go" alignment.

    Are your LCA eccentrics seized?

Being able to change the Ball Joint in the Driveway without having to take off the arms is what sold me. Had LR arms years ago when they were the failing version. Never looked back.

You can take the LR bj's off without removing the arm.

If I had to do it all over again I'd go with the JBA for two reasons.

    I don't 100% trust the LR bj
I don't 100% trust the LR bj slide.

I'm a big fan of my total chaos UCA's, these things are bomb proof. Yes, pricier, but you get what you pay for when you don't have to keep going back in and replacing ball joints under warranty or not. If you haven't yet, look into uniball Uca's. They offer a little wider range of motion and the TC's have a bunch of caster built in for some sturdy handling. Living in the north, you may want to protect that uniball from salt and what not so I'd suggest looking at the icon UCA'S, which can have a cover for the uniball.

Actually the LR bj has a larger range of motion and I'm pretty sure the JBA does as well.

I know Brother but I had a pair of the defective LR UCA's years ago, and when they failed SPC told me to go pound sand. So even though they have updated everything I would still not buy them again.

I'm not so sure you even need new UCA's to get the alignment within spec.
