    I backed into my parking spot at my apartment and the fucking bushes along the fence totally fucked up my tailgate. I was barely rolling. Anybody had to replace a tailgate and what did it cost? It opens and closes fine...just the sheetmetal is screwed.

    If it's just the sheet metal, take off the inside bed liner and just pounding with a rubber mallet. You got nothing to lose at this point.

    Looks like you nailed a fairly thick branch that had been cut off and left sticking out of the trunk. You can see the impact point just below and to the left of the handle...
