I put all my change in there, and i regularly put my hand in there, so i would like to keep that space.

I just though about this... i could get a magnetic phone mount! Attach the metal plate to the back of the pod and BOOM! Easy AF to mount!

Or make a plate and mount it below the A/C controls...

I thought that was what you were talking about earlier, which is why i said there may not be enough room.... haha

Not a very clean look IMO... I will play with it and see what i can come up with...

I really like the factory look on the inside, which is why i havent bought a new after market HU. Just need to find out where/if i need to cut.

Seems like we have covered the basic mounting points in the truck...

I think next to the mirror switch is one of teh cleanest looking places for it.
I also like the center console but I get the whole dog and spill risk. Its also more noticeable when looking in the windows.
Damn, I would have come out had I known before I got home. Maybe next month.

Thanks man! The cap makes it a whole new truck haha. The light will definitely get some use with the amount of country driving we do.

Also that thing lining it up with the brackets to bolt it in was a pain in the ass.

I'm always nearby less than 3 miles away, but always stuck with these godforsaken work hours. I'm doomed to be a loner I can never make any meets. :annoyed:

2nd gen best gen, love both of these mounting locations super clean.
