Gunna take longer than a weekend... that project took me 17 hours for the backwall and 4 doors.

If I get the doors done I'll be happier. I think ?

How do you feel about the time and the effort?

Small difference or big? Was it worth it?

Any left I'll work my way down the back.

Thanks in advance for our feedback!

Definitely worth it! The sound will be so much more clean and crisp, almost feels like u have headphones in. It's very tedious, but not "hard", just bring an ipod. I put it all over the inside skin and the 36sq ft got my doors and back wall covered.
    Good luck brother!

I did my back wall in dyno mat on my previous truck and someone yelled at me saying I didn't need full coverage and only needed a few patches to absorb the sound... What's the right way?

One side down, one more to go. The uniball bolt that goes through the top of the spindle was a pain in the ass but i eventually got it to go into place :headbang:

Very nice.. You park outside, right? Did you do anything to deter theft with your ditch lights? I'm thinking about using red loctite or solder on the bolts..

This that and the other thing.
After 3 and a half weeks later i finally got my truck back. Got the rims powder coated. Extremely happy with the outcome.

I know not too much of a difference, but it also is an anti glare finish so hopefully that'll help in the sun and I'm not able to see any fingerprints :D
Also I know the colors look different but I think it's just the pictures. It looks no different in person.

P.S. no it didn't take an hour to install. I saw a bubble on the first attempt so I replaced it. Luckily it came with two.

Couple mods down, many mods to go
Started the evening by putting some go go juice in the Tacoma And picking up my trailer from a guy that does fabrication stuff. I put new tires and wheels on my trailer that were bigger and brought the trailer higher which made the ramp steep so he added a foot onto the end and it made a world of different. Hit it with rustoleum when I got home. And figured out why my middle running lights wouldn't work because they were full of mud from the previous owner. They were on but dim. It's amazing what pulling a cover off will do.

    IMG_1260.jpg IMG_1262.jpg

Onto the fun stuff. Did the Tacoma running light mod. Raptors are amber and since my lights are white, I'm callin in the Tacoma light mod. And let me tell ya, pain in the ass

Turned out pretty good. The lights are from super bright led and they are bright. Some angles they look yellow and others they are white but turned out pretty good to me. Looks bad ass with the halo's on but didn't get a pic

I was about to post a smartass comment regarding the hour and a half lol. Let me know how that works out. I'm thinking about designing a visor something similar to what @Carroll did because the glare is driving me crazy

Thanks! I haven't done anything yet to secure the ditch lights short of using a nylock nut on the bolt so at least people won't be able to twist the nut off without the proper socket size. How strong is the red loctite?
