Oh also my truck lives again. Oil leak, fixes. Wierd idle unable to tune, gone. Got idle and light cruise kinda dialed in and hopefully ill get a little more done this weekend and be hitting boost in a few days

oh and if you spot the little blue car behind the jeep....I do believe it is an MR2. Just noticed it this morning so it's new to the lot...want to look at it.

I knew you'd come around haha. They are sweet little cars, tough to find stock. Sure the 267k scares me, but for the right price it's almost worth it. Not sure if I'm going to get to drive it tonight with my work schedule being so ???? right now.

 

If he really wants to sell then he shouldn't mind meeting a little later.

it's the only motor they put in them during those years I do believe.

 

I got the Tacoma wave going this morning. The last couple that passed gave me a wave and head nod

 

don't let mileage scare you then, first of all, solid Toyota motor, secondly there is so much aftermarket support for those you could prolly rebuild the whole thing for nothing; is it auto? (sorry there were like 6 pages I skipped this morning)

 

yes automatic, no manual offered until the 2002 models. This one is 2001. The engine doesn't scare me, it's the transmission. In speaking withe the guy it has had zero issues other than minor, which makes me scared of what 300k holds for the car. That age/miles will catch up at some point, so when?

 

na man don't worry about it, as cheap as it is, just go into it like someone buyin a z71 with over 100,000 miles and expect to have to rebuild it and be surprised if you don't. have you looked at rebuild kits?
