They actually work if you want very low carb pizza. But that was funny :)

Bummer, I thought you were fixed.

My wife makes stir fried rice with grated cauliflower instead of rice. Stir fried cauliflower sounds wrong but its tasty!

No doubt there. We have done low carb here and there, cauliflower doesn't really bother me but she said she doesn't like the taste of it. I have thought about trying some alternatives for the crust when we are low carbing it. Not sure exactly what i might do though. Definitely going to try the Chicken Parm one from this thread normal carb and low carb versions of it.

I would have to draw the line at no red meat and BBQ. ;). Dang dude, I'd starve. No flour? How do you fry your food? That's a major food group here in the South. Bummer. Hang in there.

I let myself go from a weight standpoint when I hit 40 but decided a few years ago I wanted to get back in shape. I lost a ton of weight on a low carb diet and have kept it all off. I'm walking around at 175 and eat whatever I want but do so in moderation. Also, after low carbing it for so long I found I don't like the same foods I used to like. We splurge 1-2 times a week but I just don't eat that much anymore (unless I'm on vacation like now). I used to drink 4 Mountain Dews a day but haven't had a soda now in almost 4 years. I don't drink any sweetened beverages of any kind. I feel much better and no longer have high BP or reflux.

That's awesome man, congrats. Ya mine has gone up and down for a while. One thing I've learned in doing it though is don't starve yourself of things you want all the time. Like you said have a splurge/cheat day or two where you get the things you really want.

Pizza and BBQ will always be my go to things (Smoked BBQ Pizza fuhgeddaboudit), I can pass on majority of the sweets and stuff though now and then I do want some of them.

I have had my share of cheesecake this week. Geez, I've eaten my self silly off that stuff. I weighlifted for over 25 years but an injury and subsequent illness stopped that and I got huge afterwards (294) and lost over 125 pounds in a little over a year. I got too thin at 6' and 165 so I put on a few pounds and have more energy now.
