    yeah he has gotten off track lately but I think he'll be able to pull it together come playoff time. Duchene is an animal though... give him a couple years and he's gonna be great.

    I've been meaning to ask for a long time, since I haven't been seeing style or play changes on my own. What's the deal with the trapezoid behind the nets? To prevent goalie interference? Can't feed the puck in front of the net while in the trapezoid?

    In the past, the goalie could play the puck anywhere behind the goal line. Now he is limited to the trapezoid. Anywhere in front of the goal line is still game, but if he crosses that goal line, he can only touch the puck in the trapezoid. Any other player can handle the puck wherever they like, just no hanging out in the crease.
