Nah. Nothing's changed. There are different tail lights depending on the trim level though. The higher trims have more "euro" styling.

Also, the trucks were backed up against a wall, so pictures wouldn't do any justice anyway.

    But.......

Who wants to start the "What's the chatter on the 2019s" thread off with some colors?

    New options:
    8T6 for the TRD Pro
    8W2 for the others

If you actually use a picture of a Ridgeline your joke will have more substance.

I think it's a cost thing too. It's much cheaper (and logistically easier) to have one part number and piece for all your vehicles. For example, if they had body colored grilles, they would need a part number and stock for all colors the model comes in. With chrome, you have one part number and one part to stock.

Yeah, they'll always say that... no matter what. I've had them speak falsely about all kinds of stuff. They told me that to get a sunroof you had to go to a limited trim. To get any of the other features (blind spot monitor, cross traffic, etc.) you had to get to a limited.

He also told me that he has only seen one other manual transmission Tacoma in 8 years.

(in other words, buy this one, you want this one, there will be no other one, this is the one you want)

Someone I work with drives one of these horse abortions. Looks like a chromed baby gate for a grille. Barf.

According to a dealer local to me, Toyota hasn't loaded up the 2018 Tacomas yet. I was building a potential preorder 2018 Tundra but couldn't do the same for a Tacoma. No word on when either.

Agreed. It reminds me of the 6000 SUX from robocop. So over the top it's gotta be a movie prop.

Looks like 'old guys' aren't the only ones who like chrome. By the way, I'm 52 and the only place I like chrome is on motorcycles. And even then it's not something I get excited about.
