We need some of that in my area, lawn is like straw.

 

That sucks. About a 3 hour drive to East Hartford or Scarborough.

I'm about an hour and 20 minutes from E. Hartford, but the Bass Pro in Bilgeport is only 10 minutes from here.
Wish it was a Cabelas instead.

I absolutely hate truck shopping and the questions my wife asks to go along with it. How do you know it wasn't in a wreck and repaired out of pocket? How do you know it wasnt in a flood? Some things I just don'y have answers for and neither does Carfax

It's tax free weekend here. Don't know if socks are on list I just need socks.

 

It's pricy, but I use it for 4 month season and with the hunting area so close, I'll go out at least 50 times.

 

I had a 150lb Horton. Stuck a buck in shoulder and he ran off with 75$ worth of bolt and expandable broadhead. Traded it for a gun

 

I shot last year's buck in the shoulder.
Bolt went in one shoulder and came out the other shoulder and then buried itself in the ground up to the fletching.
1 inch Wasp fixed blade and 375 fps is a wicked little combination.

They have some requirements on the type you use for hunting here.
Min draw weight. Bolt size I think.

Been a long time for me since I've been hunting. Use to go with my dad.
Life changes.
So I will need to go through a safety course for bow and one for crossbow.
That's ok...
Then I can do another bucket list thing and hunt with my boy.
