I have those same wheels, but not black. Did you Plasti-Dip them and then glossify?

I want to get new wheels to run in summer and keep the stock wheels for the winter. My tires are 265 75 17. When I surf for wheels I think I look too much into it. I see notes saying "
    • Sold individually in a wide range of sizes, bolt patterns and offsets" I don't want to change any size or anything else. I just want the same size. What do I look for? Thanks!

I bought some weather tech floor mats for the front off craigslist. I'll tell you what these things are much better than I expected, although I'm disappointed that the passenger side doesn't have the holes for the hooks. Yes they're a bit dirty but who cares there for my feet.IMG_1566.jpg

    A thing or two...
You seem to be missing a lug hole. :boink:

Tire size and rim size are complete different things. What size rim do you have now? If you're on a stock 17" rim, it is probably 17x7. Bolt pattern on the 4x4/Prerunner is 6x5.5 (aka 6x139.7). You want a bore size of 106 or larger. If the bore size is larger, hub centric rings would be recommended. Backspacing should be 4.75" or less. For a 7" rim, this is an offset of 19mm or less.

Got them sand blasted and powder coated with a thick high durability powder. They were in really bad shape lol they needed some real good lovin' and plasti-dip would not have cut it hahaha

Did the same thing to my trd off road wheels. Mine were as bad or worse from previous owner and 11 north east Canadian winters. The powder coating is really durable.

    None. Yet...
Outside before the alleged heat advisory hits here in Austin.

Look mom no stinking badges. Plasti Dip'd them a few weeks ago and drove around trying to decide and the decision was made. I still like the ones on the doors but I have a suspicion that they are living on borrowed time.

    DSC03760.jpg

Got some sill protectors. Put the backs in and then when I went to put the fronts in. WTH? Long enough? Verified my order to make sure I ordered the correct year. Guess I think about it a bit, decide which end to work with and then carefully cut it down.

    DSC03761.jpg

While I was cleaning off the corrosion that was beginning on the battery terminals I took a look down and saw that the chrome emblem on the grill comes out super easy so some of the remaining Plasti Dip got used. It is a temporary thing until I pull the whole assembly off in the next few months and paint match the rest of that chrome and replace the stock grill with a different insert.

Had to do something while I wait on the SCS wheels to hit their website and there is only so much you can do to a 2wd before folks start pointing and snickering at the 4wd wannabe.

Just got them done last winter. Mine still look like the day I got them done. I work in the woods, so they see a fair bit of dirt/mud etc. Very resistant to scratches as well. This winter will be a full winter for them, but I have high hopes. I use spray wax on them with hydrophobic polymer technology (so the bottle states) and I think it'll help as well repelling the salt.

Wax makes 90% of this come off with just a pressure washer.

Couldn't agree more, my only compliant is that the grey seems to stain. The set I got a few years ago has hook holes on both sides.
