I assume you mean on the rocker panels? I've wondered this too; it's the same on mine. I figure it's just the paint getting messed up from all the shit that the rockers take the brunt of, but I don't actually know.

That is an applied chip protector. If you look very closely, you can see a distinct line along the top where it stops.

Trying to buy a single tire from Sam's Club, they will not mount the tire because it's an aftermarket set up. Anyone else run into this issue??
Wheel is a 15×10 Not sure offset.
Trying to match up a 255/60 bf goodrich t/a tire. Passenger side (front) has new one, came that way when I purchased.

I gave up on Sam's Club tires. Their prices weren't bad, but their service was terrible. Getting them to honor their free rotations was like pulling teeth. I pull in and park, walk past the bays and see one car being worked on with a couple of guys just standing around. Then I get inside and talk to the guy at the front desk, "Oh, we're booked solid, you'll have wait at least a couple of hours." WTH?

Hm..during the process of torqing down oil pan bolts 3 snapped. I stopped there and started ordering new bolts, all of them. Can't trust the old ones now, waste of zinc plating them.

Thinking about heading out to wrench a part to see what I can find from the few 4runners they have onsite.

Before I had my truck I'd pay to get oil changes done on my car. I had a spontaneous road trip come up and wanted to get an oil change done that day. I encountered the same thing until I was referred to a Cambodian place in Long Beach with a great reputation. I was told by the person referring me that they'd "do it right now." I showed up and saw cars lined up outside of the shop - my heart sunk. Then a guy came out... to me. I told him I wanted an oil change. He came out with a floor jack and got to work - man that kicked ass. I don't know why more people aren't like this!

What? Are you using these to mark torqued bolts? They make special paint pens for that

No just to mark all the vacuum connections. Coincidentally I am going to use them for marking torqued bolts when I put all of my engine back together lol. What can I say, the price was right... :notsure:

lol believe it or not I took my gender off of the personal details under my avatar about half an hour ago. I was thinking "who's going to mistake me for a girl when I have a guy's name." looks like I did that a little too soon lol. To be fair I've met enough girls named Anthony or Toni(y).
