Installing new glass is fun and all but don't ever wipe it or clean again. Stupid design

I bet this stuff will work on the cluster. Plexus is what I was told to use on the plexiglass aviation windows. I also used it on the windows the entire time I owned my jeep and they were in great shape after many years.

Wow!! If I didn't already put a 3M film over mine I would've gotten this in a heart beat. Great find!

Wait a minute....... We are all driving trucks, right? I think I am starting to understand why they get away with charging Lexus prices for Tacoma's. Keep your auto dimming mirrors, push button starters, wireless phone chargers and sell me truck. I will change the oil, wash it when I can't see the spaces between the body panels, and replace the tires when I get stuck leaving the job site. Scratches, dings, and dents are great conversation starters. Maybe I am wrong. If I am please accept my apology but if you agree with me save your instrument cluster money for a good set of mud tires.

Love it! I wiped mine down 2 weeks after buying my new PRO. Scratches all over the "glass" now.

Anyone tried to paint or mod the plastic surround? Was considering it, but wanted to see some finished products first...

What I can't figure out is mine still looks like shit after I removed the cluster from the truck and went to town on the clear plastic with Meguiar's PlastX. I've had good results with this stuff in the past. If the clear plastic is so soft, they why didn't a plastic polishing compound do anything but it scratches so easily with a basic cleaning?

Not sure. I used Griot's plastic polish and it worked pretty well. Maybe it is a more fine polish than the PlastX??

Will this allow you to also clean the instrument cluster? I have slight dust build up through the small hole opening to reset trips on the ODO.

    Falcon,

The product allowed me to clean and get all the scratches out of plastic. You will be able to clean any dust that you can reach.
