New crank sensor installed today per the recall. No ecu or tune tampering by the dealer...

Off topic, but do you have any of those TRD-BRO Decals?

As far as I know its just a photoshopped image. I've never seen any actual decals like that.

To the reporters who keep reporting "not on topic" this is TW- get over it. We do not have the time to sift through pages of worthless posts to decide what's on topic vs off topic.

@OVTune - Any chances of developing a tune for the 2TR? It's been around for a long time and should be the same as it was a few years ago.

So I'm understanding and all but...
Where an update from @OVTune on more than just getting some dongles in. I love that those waiting will get the tune finally but....
    When can we see 1.02?

Soon, I promise. I'm working on configuring these new dongles.

I understand everyone is eager to get 1.02 update, move into datalogging and start getting more mods. We are a little slow (sorry) but I feel it is important that we have everything 100%.

We ran into a couple hurdles and unknowns on this truck ( thanks Toyota, putt half done trucks on the market ). Right now I am getting some very good feedback on update 1.01B including several folks updating me letting me know they are seeing pretty significant mpg increases ( some reporting 2-3+. On a truck this size with a v6, I think that's amazing).

So, while I understand everyone wants 1.02, I want no possibility of hiccups upon release.

If you can get solid proof and numbers on those MPG increases ill put in my order immediately.

I realize this thread is now going on 200 pages, but seriously.....

Did you even take the time to read the very first post of the thread where OV describes exactly what this tune can accomplish?

This tune was not for power.
    This tune improves throttle response.
This tune calms the shifting. I have the tune and confirm with others that have it reporting holding gears longer in the auto and rev hang gone in mt.

    Edit: I have an auto

Thank you, it does give the extra torque in the mid range though, as per the dyno graphs on the first page?

I joined TW just because of this thread and this tune. It's worth it to me. The freaking pro grill is 400. That's a piece of abs plastic. This is a custom ecu tune.

I guess, but I can't tell you it's like a huge boost. In ect mode there truck is way more responsive. Night and day difference. The dealership flashed mine back to stock because I had version 2 and the latest version is 3. That was when I had 1.01A. I could instantly tell something was up. When OV released 1.01B I reflashed and was like....

There is feedback but it's buried. Its all been good so far. I challenge anyone who has bought the tune to post anything bad about their tune. I bet there no bad feedback. There has been some who have bitched about the price but they also didn't have the tune.
