Picked up a two pack Eva-Dry from Costco for $18.99, good deal considering they run $16 each on Amazon. Should work well for my ammo cabinet:

Finally picked up a mil-spec extension tube for my AR so I pulled the commercial tube and installed my BCM gunfighter stock. I really like it and it's very solid. Plus it doesn't pinch the beard hairs.

Never had a chance to find out. I did firewood/yard work all day on Saturday, then drove up to Cathedral Pines Campground around 7:30PM that evening. Got to sleep around 2:30 because we were watching the Perseid Meteor showers. Then Sunday morning I woke up at 6 and bombed back home so I could get showered and shaved in time for a work thing at 9, which occupied pretty much my whole day (got home around 7:30 last night). So I never got to go shooting. :frusty:

I use those. A good tip is when the beads change color, give it a good shake. Sometimes it's just the surface beads that have changed, so you don't need to plug it in yet.

Looks like fun. What is better ammunition storage? in the boxes or bulk in the can. It is easier to keep track of round count if by box or if you use one can on the same gun.

I do both. Well not box but rather than plastic cases that hold 20/50/100 rounds. I do those cases for rifle ammo and pistol when I only plan to shoot like a 100 rounds. Or to keep the "hot" loads separated. I do the ammo cans when just going out to have fun in the woods. I reload everything though so not as easy to do boxes/cases

2 more years of my ability to legally carry concealed... Alabama had permitless carry pass 2/3 of the way up but got shut down in the finals... I was a little pass due, but my wife and I are both legal again

Maine has permitless carry now, but I still keep my permit current.

For me it's more for the sake of convenience. With the permit I can carry in the state and national parks in Maine, don't have to report it to a cop ASAP if I'm pulled over (I still do, I just don't use it as a conversation starter), and I can keep it in my car while I'm at work (which is huge, since my employer is based in NY and has a very strict zero-tolerance no-firearms policy).

My ffl in AZ waives the transfer fee since I have a ccw. But I still pay him anyway since he's been good to me. I'm not sure of how many ffls would loan you a rifle to do a 3 gun event and only ask that I make sure I have fun.
