"Road worthy" now, I'll drive it to the dealer if I don't come up with something else.
To be road/trail worthy I still need rear springs and shocks installed. Planning on driving the 500mi break in (after I sort out the brakes) for the gears and then taking it down for diff oil, transmission flush, transfer drain/fill, coolant flush, chevy 63" swap, rear traction bar.

I forgot about all the fluid changes and flushing.

Holler if you need a hand with the rear!

Still not sure, may be doing something like this. Have never replaced or tried to bleed a master cylinder. Just going off what I believe i have read before somewhere, that if the level gets below the reservoir it will introduce air into the system that you can not bleed the normal way... remebering is fuzzy lol

Bench bleeding is the term I've been thinking of!

    Are we "roadworthy" yet?

Also....MAY be contacting you about some welding. Gonna look at bolt on sliders and see if they need any additional "fastening" to frame. May throw a few spots of weld on if I don't trust the bolts.

    o_O

I thought the whole point of bolt on sliders was so you could take them off easily should your conditions progress? And now you wanna weld em on

The whole point of bolt on sliders is so I can take them off easily. That's why I won't be welding them on entirely even if there's SOME welding. I DON'T want to "weld them on".....Just tack a few places IF I feel like it needs it....and in such a way that I can easily cut the welds if I need to take them off. Didn't say I WANT to weld them on, nor did I say I WAS welding. Just making sure I have a plan B in case there's an issue with plan A.

In all likelihood, there won't be ANY welding. Just a back up plan.

Most bolt ons also require 4 holes to be drilled along the lower web of the frame channel. I'm not a big fan of drilling hardened steel with a hand drill. Nor am I a biig fan of WELDING on frames. Gonna look at which is the lesser of 2 evils.

Irwin Cobalt bits. Work great on hard steel and not bad on prices to get em.

Glad you didn't record me being a bitch on the way out.

Found these DYF approved jack stands wondering around in Google Earth.
