Has anyone had auto trany issues since the ucon install? My acted like it lost 5 gear all the sudden. It wouldn't shift into 5th at all while I was driving down the hwy. Pulled over shut it off and let it sit for a few mins then started back up. No issue worked fine again it was strange. Just curious if anyone else had this same issue?

Just a little update on mine, I did a steady cruise and a WOT data log for Scott this morning, and he got back to me right away and said the UCON reflash worked well with everything pretty much spot on....

except that the cam angles are off, so evidently the pos bullydog flash is still in there and costing me horsepower.
I've decided I'm going to buy a normally aspirated ECU for my x-runner and go from there. Unfortunately the x-runner used parts market is almost non existent, so I think I'm going to have to buy a brand new ECU. Has anyone else done this? I'm guessing the new ECU's are blank and need to be flashed with an OEM factory tune.

It's not blank, it's ready to go. VIN is missing, but you can add it later.

Ok, whew that's good news. At this point I spent so much money on this truck what's another 600. At least then I'll know it's good to go. Do you know how I'd add a VIN to it? Jumping pins 13 & 4 on the OBD2?

^ You'll need the Mongoose cable or similar. And Toyota Techstream with VIN Update Wizard (VUW).

Mine has done this since my original ECU using the Bully Dog flash. It also did it on the second ECU with the TRD flash and it still does it on my current ECU with the UCON.

Mine will eventually shift into 5th. But I can manually make it shift to 5th buy just clicking the shifter over to 4th then back to 5th. It's weird behavior but not a huge issue. It doesn't do it all the time and it seems like it happens more in the morning when the trans hasn't fully warmed up yet.

I had the same issue with the TRD flash. Swapped to a stock ECU and cam angles are where they're supposed to be.

    You got THAT right!

This happens to me as well. However it started happening before the S/C + UCON where installed. It started happening when I went from 265/70/R16 to 285/75/R16 tire size and I haven't regeared.

UCON was updated this morning and I just finished data logging while the family took a nap.

Its fucking hard to grab this data where I live in Los Angeles/Harbor City.

30-60 sec of constant 75 on the freeway is much harder than it sounds.
Finding a place to WOMP on it from a stop is also very hard to find where I live.

With that said the WOMP was :D:D:D:D :burnrubber::burnrubber::burnrubber::burnrubber::burnrubber:

    NICE!

I usually wait until night time to do the logs. As soon as I get my cruise set at 75, some slow mofo decides to get in my lane, lol.

Sounds right. UCON likes it rich. You can see the cmdAfr and that tells you what the UCON is shooting for. And Sensorswraf1 sensorswraf2 is what is actually happening.
