I am looking to replace my stock 16" x 7" wheels with aftermarket wheels. The ones I want are AR236883 16" x 8" with 4" backspacing. Has anyone put this size wheel on a 2017? I am very confused after researching this on numerous online wheel places. Several sites state they will fit and many others say they will not. I do not want to use spacers or do any mods and there does not seem to be much available in 16" x 7" wheels.

Looks like 4.5" backspace to me...
Hub bore is 108mm; may want hub rings...
Should fit...or not, due to caliper clearance. You can't really tell that from specs.

What is the offset? Are you keeping stock tires? You should be way fine. 6x5.5 (6x139 i think is the metric, could be wrong). Hub is 106. Like Splitbolt said, a set of 108-106 hubcentric rings off of ebay for $10 will fix that problem. I swapped my wheels to 16x8 +10 offset with 265 75 16s w/o any rubbing or issues. IDK what the backspacing is, I pay more attention to the offset. I suggest the website. . Don't mess up in front of your significant other and type in will "it" fit, totally different website.. I digress, it will show you the clearences from the spindle and how far out it will "poke" with new wheels.

Well, went for it. Everything turned out OK. Bought hub rings but ended up not needing them. The caliper is VERY close but does not touch. The 8" width makes the tires look bigger and gives the truck a wider stance. Very happy.
