I want to try to put a panel in place of front overhead sunglasses bin with small switches. My cb and phone charger live in that lower cubby where your switches are.

 

I thought about that too, but didn't want to run wires up the a-pillar.

I don't have anything mounted in front of the shifter, but I like having the space. I think @11TRDTX has some switches in the coin tray?

 

I sent dave and jeremy the foam material for their switches

 

Not sure why I thought you had a couple switches in the coin tray thing under the factory switches, left of the steering wheel

Same. It's a wasted space for me. I don't even put my smokes in there, and don't want to rob space for 2-3 more switches from somewhere else

 

yep. I have 3 open and i think i can fit 3 or 4 in there that should be plenty for me.

 

What's your plan for a mounting solution?

Anyone else thinking on going to LBL to view the Eclipse??

I was thinking of going up after work on Friday, camp/wheel Saturday & Sunday, watch the eclipse on Monday then head home.

i can fit 3 in there with the switches I've put in there. Pic in the morning

i used to same foam mat that i (dave and jeremy) used for the switches in front of the cup holders.
