NorCal Craigslist finds

Read some threads and make some comments. It shouldn't take years to get to 50. This place is a gold mine, wish I had time to dig more. I'm at a necessarily frugal point but have plenty of time yet for some of the upgrades I've already read about and hope to contribute a few of my own.

 

I admit, I also thought the 50 post count only applied in the BST section.

 

I do a lot of reading on here I just don't engage much as I feel some comments are better unsaid to declutter discussion. TW is an awesome place!

 

No worries, did not once feel that you were being such. I'm easy going, my mess up, an "ah okay" moment for me. I learned from my days of asking dumb questions on other forums to stay quiet and use the "SEARCH" haha so I haven't bothered posting muc. I find a lot of what I need and go on about my day. But definitely want to start engaging more as I seem to find myself referencing this site more often.

Hey I didn't wanna say anything either, but @EL BOOGIE , the easiest way to have "circumvented" the BST clause in the CRAIGSLIST thread, would have been to make a CL Ad and post it here. And then just said "mine, TW locals get deals" and nobody would have said jack.

 

Not quite? Rules say if you post a classified site, you may link to the sale from your post-BUT YOU MUST still include a picture in the post. Which then puts a seller under the first rule.. needing 50 post minimum. Lol

It's easy to get to 50 @EL BOOGIE and it'll save you in the long run. There shouldn't be a need to 'circumvent' the rules.

 

Hell... I've got more posts here than I do on my instagram. Haha. Anyways back to craigslist related stuff @Fernando you sell your tacoma? Saw it on craigslist couple of weeks back. Had couple of my friends interested in it when I showed them. But they're all poor haha.

 

If that's the case then about 99% of this thread needs to be deleted. Since the vast majority of people just post "nm (link)"

 

Lolz. Which means 'not mine'... which means they aren't the sellers... which means rules don't apply. Also, Most of them have over 50 posts so even by your standards, they're fine..

Here's in the last week. A bunch of guys just posting up shit in here without a craigstlist ad, or just one line with a CL ad. Your point is moot.

Bottom line, the thread is for posting CL ad's of yours or ones you found. Not a way to bypass B/S/T. Make a CL ad, post it in here, everything is great.

That still falls under the classified ads requiring a seller to post a picture in the thread.. thus requiring them to follow rule 1 of 50 post count..

If someone is posting an add they found, that's not their 'ad' then it doesn't matter. Lol

Just because the rules were broken 6(?) times, should we all just break the rules? That logic is 'moot'
