Got some sweet socks for my anniversary last week (and a bu djoir book but she said i cant share that with everyone)

 

OK....Who knows the brand, the name of the vendor, and in particular, a model/part # for OEM style headlights for early 2nd gens? OEM is reeee-dick-a-less expensive. Some aftermarkets are just too cheap to be legitimate. I want good, but not out of this world expensive.

 

Can't answer your question directly, but my advice is to look around until you find a good set of used OEMs. I have bought 3rd party HLs before and while the light housing itself was reasonably good, the light output was not. The reflector was not as good, and the light output was spotty and inconsistent, e.g., hot spots and dim spots. I ended up waiting and watching for a good set of used OEMs, but it did take some time. I also did the same when I wanted to get retros done, I watched and waited for a set of OEMs then sent those to my retro person.

I only took it to 155. I set the alarm higher so I can watch it instead of it going off.
