Yeah, not going to change, so just go with the flow.

I doubt anyone here wishes anybody else harm, and the forum is (thankfully) set up so anyone can participate, as long as they don't violate the coc.

    Just my $.02.

    Carry on....

I have no problem with gripe / problem threads but when every thread turns into a one by the same people with an axe to grind the usefuless of this forum goes downhill fast.

Much of the reason the 3rd gen forum has turned into such a shitstorm.

I've had my 2017 TRD Sport (with AT) for about 4 months now and I've had zero problems. No regrets and I would absolutely recommend one.

My truck 2009 sport trd was totaled and would be nice if I can wait for a 2018 but like the title says gonna buy one next week. So far this thread has convinced me to go ahead with the 2017 and just enjoy . If it takes a dump ,I'll be at the dealer trying to get satisfaction and go on! Lol Talking resale value ,I have the insurance quote in writing and won't say( don't want to jinx) until it's in my account.

I would not hesitate to get it, the overall majority of owners love the truck and have no real issues, most of the negative stories you read here are people that will never be happy with whatever they drive, all the people I know or have contact with is the 3rd gen is an excellent truck with no issues.

I'll tell you that I agree that the transmission could use an update. If they changed shift points or maybe allowed turning off the stupid Atkinson cycle the engine is tuned to run, it would better. Torque could be better, and better delivered when it comes to a horribly long delay in throttle response. That aside I've loved this truck since day one and have no regerts... getting a lift put on next month so I'm pretty stoked however on that note once you buy the truck if you decide that's the vehicle you want stay off TW. Your wallet will thank you. 4 runner was my second choice but again no regerts

Could explain why they're still here, they know they could do worst elsewhere, much worst, and yet here they are in spite of all the crying.

Not that I mind them really, I actually think its entertaining sometimes because with the lack of issues I have with mine it gets boring.
I originally came here for mod ideas, but they sidetracked me and got me thinking my wheels are gonna fall off any minute, and I end up not doing the mods and they save me money!!
Just the opposite of of what they do when they drop $2k of money at the turd they hate so much by lifting it

    Gotta luv these guys! lmaoo!

    Cheers!

Yeah I can't wait till I can get an 18. Just went down to.dealer this morning and can't believe it but the tacoma limited doors are still unlocked. I love the interior and will also get a lift in mine too when I can ever get.one
Haha. Struggling on what color.i want.id.my biggest issue. They didn't have the bbp.or inferno which I think.i might really like the inferno in the tacoma. Seen one in town and looked good. Also saw bbp and not sure on it. Saw a tundra pro in cement and not really sure on cement and think maybe prefer silver if I go that way. Of course it.may.look lot better on tacoma. I know quicksand looks better on tacoma than tundra imo. Same with inferno. I think bbp looks better on tundra. The.limited i sat in was white and looks good but I have white colorado now and want something other. I'm usually white silver or gray person. Not sure what Calvary blue will look like on tacoma trd pro.

All I know is that once the Furd Ranger comes out in '18 and these few individuals trade their trucks in, they'll no more issues on here to be talked about. They'll just disappear, gone, like the craziness with the low ATF fluid from the factory all of the sudden is of no concern anymore lol! Never was to me though

It'll be so boring here, I'll have to buy a Ford Ranger (but I'll keep my taco) and join that forum to see if I get the same results there too lmaoo!
